Through the saving ministry of Jesus Christ, the “merciful and faithful high priest” [Heb 2:17], the people of God gather around the font of baptism and the altar of the sanctuary to be cleansed from sin and celebrate the Lord’s Eucharist feast.
Here, where we gather to praise and worship God, all learn and grow in the Catholic faith so as to live the Christian life more faithfully. Leaders — lay, religious and ordained — are nourished for ministry in the Church and the world. We, the Body of Christ, the Church, worship God in joyous celebration of the Mass and sacraments.
Confirmed by the Holy Spirit, we proclaim the Word of God to all people. We witness the love and redemptive healing of Christ. We serve those in need in both Church and society. Full participation in the eucharistic life of the Church is the joy of God’s people.
