The greatest and most powerful prayer we possess is the Mass!  The fruits of the Mass are the very fruits of Jesus' redemption. Therefore, our Church encourages the faithful to have Mass offered for loved ones, both living and deceased. It is a worthy and ancient Catholic devotional practice.
