Joyful news! We return to our beloved campus and the fullness of parish life the weekend of March 28 - 29. I look forward to seeing everyone again at Mass! Please continue to pray for our beloved St. Philip parish, and give generously to our recovery!
I have a very special REQUEST to make of you: Please tell everyone you know that St. Philip parish is fully active and flourishing, both spiritually and socially!
See our Sunday Spirit & Truth Newsletters for more detailed information.
Here’s our new weekend MASS schedule:
Saturday Confessions: 3 pm (Begins March 28)
Vigil Mass: 4 pm (Begins March 28)
Sunday Masses: 8:30 am & 11 am (Begins March 29)
I need your help to keep the vestibule very quiet during the weekend Masses until we get our new glass worship area doors installed sometime in April.
Our Continuing Christian Education (CCE) schedule:
Elementary CCE: 9:45 am - 10:45 am (Begins Sunday, March 29);
High School /Middle School CCE: 7 - 8:30 pm (Begins Wednesday, April 01)
I ask that all our parish ministries and fellowship groups return to the campus by April 13th. We are truly in need of LITURGY MINISTERS to celebrate Mass joyfully and well: lay readers, eucharistic ministers, acolytes and altar servers, sacristans, ushers and choir members. Please remember MARY’S BLESSINGS with special donations to help the poor!
A word of THANKS to you who have made our recovery easier by your generous donations and volunteer hours of service on campus. Your fervent and loving prayers to God on our behalf are especially powerful. On behalf of our parish families, I extend our deepest GRATITUDE to Pastor Deborah Hawboldt and her staff at Atascocita United METHODIST CHURCH for sharing their church home with us after the Imelda storm!
